Atlassian has announced significant changes to their Server and Data Center offerings:

  • Server licenses will not be sold after Feb 2, 2021 and server will end support by Feb 2024
  • Price increases announced for Server and Data Center starting Feb 2, 2021

What does it all Mean?

If you’re on Server:

End of sale for new licenses

On February 2, 2021 Pacific Time, Atlassian will stop selling new licenses for their Server products and cease new feature development in their Server product line.

Three years of maintenance

If you have an existing Server license, you can continue to renew and receive maintenance and support for your licenses until February 2, 2024, Pacific Time.

Updates to future pricing

On February 2, 2021, Pacific Time, Atlassian will increase the price of maintenance for existing Server licenses to ensure the continued security and maintenance of their server platform.

If you’re on Data Center

Apps Included with Data Center – Advanced Roadmaps(Portfolio) for Jira Software DC; Team Calendars for Confluence DC, Insight Asset Management for Jira Service Desk DC

Access to Priority Support  Get higher SLAs, faster triage, and faster resolutions for your critical applications with Priority Support for Data Center customers.

Price Increase for Renewal and New Licenses On February 2, 2021, Pacific Time, Atlassian will increase the price of Data Center subscriptions to reflect the value of these investments.
